We’re fixing some issues with our feed updater and we’ll be back up-and-running as soon as possible. Sorry for that, but this new version will fix several issues for some “malformed” feeds, so your experience will be improved. Really =)
Thanks!

Hi Everybody!
Today at 18h30 (UTC) Spix will be offline for a short period (1 - 10 minutes) and will be back bringing some shiny new features and optimizations, like improved quicktime and flash enclosures and performance issues. Now you can use the keyboard to perform some actions on spix. The supported shortcuts are:

D - Toggle the dock
S - Toggle the “Search” panel
F - Toggle the “Friends” panel
C - Toggle the “Content” panel
Shift + K/J - Move to the next / previous tab (without opening them)
O - Open the current focused element (the Tab selected with J/K, for example)
We are working hard to give full keyboard support to items and collections soon, so stay tuned!
UPDATE: We ran into some weird errors while deploying this update and we are talking to the folks at Engine Yard to help us. The new version will be available soon and will be announced as updates on this post. Sorry for that!
UPDATE 2: Everything is ok now. Spix is online with all the new features and enhancements.

To filter the excess of information found in the Internet these days, selecting only what is interesting to each person. This was our goal when developing web application Spix.info, which allows users to access what’s new in his chosen websites and blogs in a single page, from any computer. Spix was conceived in order to offer time saving and practicality in the three main functions of the web: search, access to specialized content and connecting to people. It is a tool to track whatever is important for the user. If you want to be one of our first beta-testers please sign up here. Check back soon for more info on Spix.
